    Bharatanatyam choreographers Ranee and Aparna Ramaswamy’s Fires of Varanasi: Dance of the Eternal Pilgrim evokes an elaborate ritual where time is suspended and humans merge with the divine.

    Through multi-disciplinary dance works for the stage, engaging the community, and educating the next generation, Ragamala Dance epitomizes intercultural and immigrant narratives that evoke a shared sense of humanity.

    Founded in 2011 by Annette Philip, the first Indian music faculty member at Berklee College of Music, the Berklee Indian Ensemble is a world renowned collective, known for honoring its Indian roots while boldly experimenting with a cross-pollination of genres, and multi-disciplinary art. IAA is pround to be presenting this as part of their Grammy nomination tour for the album Shuruaat.

    Riyaaz Qawaali returns to the IAA stage for another thrilling performance featuring the acclaimed Jones Family Singers.

    A production that captures the American diversity, two communities of color join together to break barriers. This concert will explore multiple faiths, presenting songs from the Hindu bhajan, Sufi Qawwali and Christian Gospel musical traditions. Originally premiered in 2021 through IAA, this has begun to tour the country with presentations at The Getty, Smithsonian Museum and NYC’s Word Music Institute.

    The Anirudh Varma Collective is a contemporary Indian classical ensemble from New Delhi, India led by composer and producer, Anirudh Varma. The collective aims to discover, re-discover and present the tradition of Indian music in a contemporary yet rooted manner to reach and connect with the masses. The collective has produced two full length albums “Perspectives” and “Homecoming” and has members across India, the United States and Canada.
